Therese Baz
Therese started writing in 2001 when she first ventured beyond the borders of her home country, South Africa. Inspired by the sights, sounds and experiences of overseas travel she felt compelled to write about her adventures.
She was encouraged by those who read her stories and articles to explore her creativity and try her hand at fiction. When she entered a short story in a competition run by The Writers Bureau in 2005 and it won a prize, a dream was born.
Since then Therese has lived on three continents and travelled to over thirty destinations worldwide. She has worked in a range of industries from I.T. and finance to horticulture. In addition to writing for suite101.com she still writes short stories and is currently working on her first novel.
For leisure she enjoys music, dancing, riding her motorcycle and is an avid reader.
